The concentration of endogenous hormones decreases clearly from the 40th year of life. Without a compensation of lack of hormones it is not possible to age healthily. The lack of hormones such as progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and partly oestrogenic leads to a loss of quality of life (e.g. insomnia, loss of libido and depressions) as well as disorders of several functions of the organs (e.g. high blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid diseases). Lack of hormones or hormonal dysbalance cause or make numerous diseases of civilization and degenerations in old age worse (e.g. osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and dementia). Lack of hormones can be diagnosed early through a laboratory test of blood or urine.
