Ambulatory surgeries of benign and malignant skin alterations

We carry out all skin surgeries in our large surgery department and biopsy samples are carried out in case of conspicuous skin alterations. We remove benign or disturbing skin alterations as well as malignant tumours completely surgically. If there may result larger defects, we will carry out skin grafts or displacement plastic repair. So the removal of the tumour is both, secure as well as optimally aesthetic. Furthermore, all skin alterations that underwent surgery undergo a histologic examination as well as histological analysis. Depending on the result of the analysis it will be decided on further therapeutic steps. The Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of North Rhine-Westphalia granted us authorisation to carry out ambulatory surgeries.
