We can test specific allergy antibodies (immunoglobulin E; lgE) in our laboratory. The proof of specific lgE, especially when it comes to food allergen and insect allergy (which would be risky to prove via skin tests), is meaningful. The efficiency of a specific immunotherapy (hyposensibilization) can be optimized through making a distinction between major allergens and next allergens as well as checking the process of lgG4.
